Participants start with essential digital marketing training before progressing to individual assignments and collaborative campaigns. The Hybrid Working Module provides experience of online meetings, digital collaboration, campaign planning, task management and presenting work remotely.

As participants develop their skills, they may progress to more advanced tasks involving SEO strategy, PPC campaign planning, audience segmentation, conversion optimisation, marketing analytics, campaign performance analysis and multi-channel digital strategies.
The existing JSTA programme covers key areas including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing and mobile marketing, alongside measuring and optimising campaign performance.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Learn about keywords, search intent, on-page optimisation, content improvement and techniques that can help websites improve their visibility in search engines.
Paid Digital Advertising (PPC)
Understand how paid advertising campaigns are structured, including audiences, keywords, advertising copy, budgets and performance measurement.
Content & Email Marketing
Explore how blogs, website content, newsletters and email campaigns can be used to engage audiences and support organisational goals.
Social Media Marketing
Develop content ideas, campaign plans and promotional strategies for different social platforms while learning how to evaluate engagement and audience response.
Marketing Analytics & Optimisation
Learn how marketers use data and performance indicators to measure campaigns, identify opportunities and improve future marketing activity—an important element of the existing JSTA course.

The programme can support those exploring pathways such as Digital Marketing Assistant, SEO Assistant, Content Marketing Assistant, PPC Assistant, Email Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive, Campaign Assistant and other entry-level digital marketing roles.
